Fire Extinguishers
How often are fire extinguishers required to be inspected?
All commercial fire extinguishers require annual inspection per NFPA 10. In addition, stored-pressure units require internal maintenance every 6 years and hydrostatic testing every 5–12 years depending on the type. We handle all of this and keep your records in order.

A 6-year service involves discharging, internally examining, and recharging stored-pressure extinguishers to verify they are free from damage and will function correctly in an emergency. This is required every six years from the date of manufacture or last service.

If your device fails, we can repair or replace the assembly and perform a follow-up test to confirm it passes before submitting your compliance paperwork. We document everything and make the process as simple as possible.
Fire Suppression Systems
What is a fire suppression system?
A fire suppression system is designed to detect and suppress fires quickly in high-risk areas where standard sprinklers may not provide adequate protection — such as commercial kitchens, paint booths, and industrial equipment areas.
What types of businesses need fire suppression systems?
Restaurants, commercial kitchens, paint booths, auto body shops, industrial facilities, and other businesses with specialized fire hazards typically require fire suppression systems in addition to standard fire protection equipment.
How often should a suppression system be inspected?
Most commercial suppression systems require semi-annual or annual inspection depending on system type and local requirements. We'll confirm what applies to your specific system and facility.
